A Ministry of Samaritan’s Purse
OCC packs shoeboxes for needy children around the world. These boxes contain hygiene items, toys, clothes, and school supplies. We invite everyone to join this ministry! Look in the church bulletin for a list of items needed for the boxes. We have starter boxes available in the sanctuary to help you get going. YOU can be the hands and feet of Jesus! The Women's Missionary Union meets on the first Sunday night of each month at 5:00 pm. With a flurry of activity they prepare our visitor gift bags, send cards, collect and distribute various items throughout our community, prepare baskets for members who are in the hospital, and much more. Additionally, WMU helps lead our missions giving through the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions, the Margaret Lackey Offering for State Missions, and the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions. All ladies are invited to join us at our next meeting and find out more about who we are and what we do. 

Men's Brotherhood meets every second Sunday morning at 7:30 am for breakfast and a devotion. They do several missions projects throughout the year which vary by need. All men are invited to join us!

Whether it's a night of box-packing at Compassion Ministries or an extended weekend at Mission Arlington, various mission opportunities arise throughout the year. We include them in our weekly bulletin and announce them in the worship service, on Facebook, and on our website. Be sure to check back frequently to stay up to date on how you can be involved.
